Summary:
The Boston Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Clinician oversees the implementation of clinical services and interventions at the CCS, as well as person centered treatment and disposition planning for clients on the unit.
The CCS Clinician carries a small caseload and provides direct clinical interventions with clients.
The Clinician in conjunction with the treatment team, will conduct comprehensive assessment, brief crisis intervention, individualized risk management/safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination.
The CCS Clinician contributes to Bay Cove's mission by partnering with CCS service recipients to work towards their personal goals in order to achieve greater stability and improved quality of life.
This is an Exempt position.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
? Interns Essential Functions of Position:
? Knowledgeably incorporates person centered and evidence based practices and philosophies into engagement strategies, treatment planning and the selection of interventions based on each client's assessed readiness and expressed interest in order to support long-term recovery ? Oversees the delivery of therapeutic groups as leader, co-leader, or observer and ensures that the unit follows the daily schedule of program activities, client meetings, and groups ? Utilizes recovery-oriented language and principles in all communication and interactions with Persons, colleagues, and collaterals ? Participation in daily rounds with a multidisciplinary team and organizes follow up of identified issues for the unit and for the individual clients.
? Ensures safety protocols are routinely reviewed and followed consistently by staff and ensures safety of clients through provision of as needed 1:
1 supervision, conducting and documenting checks, proactively addressing escalating behaviors ? Maintains effective working relationships with insurers, building campus police, Department of Mental Health, Boston Medical Center, Boston Mobile Crisis Intervention, local community resources and treatment/rehabilitation programs throughout the Greater Boston community.
? Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor Requirements for the Position:
? Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field required.
? LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or other behavioral health category which qualifies as an Independently Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts preferred.
? At least three years of experience providing services to adults with mental health challenges.
? Professional writing and verbal communications skills.
? High degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
? Proficiency in word processing and other computer functions using Windows, Word, and Google Email and Apps.
? CPR and First Aid certification required within 3 months of hire.
? Ability to climb stairs and carry up to 40 pounds, as well as the physical capacity to assist people with mobility impairments as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
