Our day services programs are expanding and we're looking for a full time Program Case Manager to join our team as we open a new program in Saugus, MA!The Steps to Independence (Saugus location) is a community focused day program designed to support people with building the necessary work and life skills to become productive members of their local communities.
This program is located at the Square One Mall to ensure full community inclusion.
Job
Summary:
Provides supervision, opportunities, and skill development to persons served by the Northeast Arc in their community-based day and work supports program.
Completes daily transportation runs for assigned individuals.
Major
Responsibilities:
Evaluates and determines program participants' interests develops individual skills.
Provides oversight to assigned caseload by attending scheduled meetings, maintaining regular and professional contact with the participant's team, completing all required documentation, and ensuring the participant's progress in program as determined by his or her goals.
Completes all necessary assessments and required paperwork.
Develops and facilitates meaningful activities for program participants within the program and community.
Makes sound clinical decisions and appropriate interventions but seeks assistance from a supervisor when necessary.
Serves as a role model and assists in developing interactive skills.
Provides transportation for individuals to and from program as well as for community activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in psychology, human services, or related field preferred, but not required Prior experience working with individual's with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred, but we're willing to train someone with the desire to learn! Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Effective communicator in both person and writing.
Team player, flexible, and able to adapt to a changing schedule.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation needed.
Pay $20.
00/hr.
M-F 8am - 4pm Recommended Skills Adaptability Assessments Clinical Works Communication Flexible Working Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
